STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.
SALARY RANGE: $115,533 - $128,370 per year
POSITION SUMMARY
The Dean of Teaching Excellence and Innovation will lead a comprehensive model of faculty development, technology innovation, curriculum and course design, and student assessment. The dean will support a culture of excellence and continuous improvement by providing responsive support, training, and development that meets the unique needs of faculty, programs, and divisions. This position will strengthen the college’s commitment to innovative curriculum and instruction practices that harness the potential of improving student teaching and learning through Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality. The dean will lead and/or align technology innovation across the college in alignment with the strategic priorities of the college. As a member of the Academic Leadership Team and Leadership Council, the dean contributes instructional expertise in decision making, that supports the College’s mission, vision, and goals while promoting an environment of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
