Job Summary: The Sales Consultant at Mitchell Volkswagen is a full-time position in the auto industry located in Simsbury, Connecticut. As an individual contributor, the Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles to customers and providing excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced and challenging role that requires a strong understanding of automobiles and sales techniques. Compensation & Benefits: The Sales Consultant position offers a competitive base salary plus commission, providing an opportunity for unlimited earning potential. Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a timely and professional manner
• Understand and effectively communicate product features, pricing, and incentives to customers
• Conduct vehicle test drives and promote vehicle features and benefits
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and objectives
• Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and follow up with potential leads
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process
• Continuously stay updated on product knowledge, current sales promotions, and industry trends
• Collaborate with team members and management to improve sales strategies and dealership processes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and maintain customer satisfaction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in using CRM software and other computer applications
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening
