$500 COMMITMENT BONUS, 50% at 3 months and 50% at 6 months

Requirements:  

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• 18 years or older
• IVP Fingerprint clearance card
• Pass background checks.
• GED or high school diploma
• Valid Driver's License
• Pass 3-year MVR.
• Preferred experience with individuals with autism or other disabilities, behaviors
• Reliable transportation
• Customer Service

Physical Requirements: ​

• Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Physical agility to lift 50 pounds minimum, to shoulder height
• Must be able to bend, to stoop, to sit on the floor, to climb stairs, to walk and to reach overhead
• Hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels, outdoors and on the telephone
• Speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms, outdoors and on the telephone

Working Conditions:  

Work is performed under the following conditions: 

• Exposure to climate-controlled classroom settings to outside weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat. 
• May involve exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to very loud on occasional to frequent time periods. 
• May involve working in crowded environments.

Job Responsibilities: ​

• Co-teaching lessons under the Teacher’s guidance, leading small groups or individual instruction and discussions, and reviewing classwork
• Organizing the classroom and teaching materials, monitoring the classroom during lessons, and minimizing distractions and disruptions
• Supervising students in and out of the classroom
• Attending to the student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
• Provide basic caregiving duties, support, and encouragement in all aspects of development
• Helping Teachers and students with extracurricular activities and school functions
• Collect data for progress monitoring
• Participate in professional development trainings as frequently as once a week
• Ensuring the upkeep of educational materials, equipment, and supplies
• Daily meetings with classroom teachers - AM and PM
• Participate in behavior Training
• Participate in student support meetings
• Assist with toileting students
• Assist with student hygiene
• Assist students in getting in/out of vans
• Assist students at lunch
• Tasks as assigned by teacher/school admin
• Ensure classroom safety standards are met at all times 

Work Schedule:

• Full Time-Day Shift Monday - Friday
