Pet Care Seattle North is hiring part-time dog walkers and pet sitters to join our experienced team. With over 18 years in the business , we've built an outstanding reputation and strong demand for our enrichment-based pet services in Ballard, Queen Anne, Fremont, Magnolia, and surrounding areas.

Open Positions :

Dog Walkers : Become a canine companion extraordinaire! Provide us with your consistent availability, and we'll build a schedule that fits your lifestyle. Midday availability (10 am - 3 pm) is preferred for this role, as it's our busiest time for dog walking services.

Pet Sitters : Showering cats and other pets with love and care while their owners are away? That's your mission! For this option, mornings, evenings, and weekends are a must.

The best part? You can take on both roles and mix and match your perfect schedule!

Work Schedule & Duties :

• You're the boss of your own schedule! Let us know your available days and times, and we'll start building your route. *Please note that availability must be consistent.
• You'll need a reliable car, as driving is required for this job.
• Stay connected through email, Gchat, and phone. Checking emails regularly, responding promptly, and reviewing your daily schedule each morning are some responsibilities of this role.
• Attend mandatory quarterly team meetings (we also offer virtual monthly meetings, which are optional but encouraged for team bonding!)
• Building a full route takes time, so patience is key as we factor in your location, availability, experience, and demand in the areas you'll be assigned to.
• Provide detailed journal entries with photos for each client visit - we love to show our pet parents how we Make Fetch! Happen!

Qualifications :

• Experience caring for pets (personal, friends, family, you name it!)
• Understanding of basic animal behavior.
• Comfortable around shy, fearful, or nervous pets.
• A true team player who enjoys collaborating with other fur-less pack members.
• Customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills (with both humans and furry friends!)
• Punctuality and organization are a must.
• Positive, dependable attitude.
• Tech-savvy enough to access internet/email on a computer and smartphone.
