About Us:

JetPens is an online retailer, specializing in premium writing instruments and office supplies. We have been featured in Wired, New York Times, and CNBC. We are looking for a video production specialist to support our marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality videos for the JetPens YouTube Channel:
  • Create storyboards based on video scripts.
  • Design sets that match the videos’ themes.
  • Shoot footage and record audio.
  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere.

Requirements:

• Experience using a DSLR or mirrorless camera to shoot video.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software.
• Able to execute ideas quickly and have a results-driven and efficient workflow.
• Excellent communication skills and reliable team player.
• Good visual design skills and sensibilities, and good taste in music.
• Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management ability.
• This is an on-site only full-time position. We are located in San Jose, CA.

Bonus Points:

• Previous knowledge and passion for writing instruments and office supplies.
• At least 1 year of videographer experience in a small studio environment.
• Knowledge of video production equipment, including lighting, audio equipment, and more.
• Experience in graphic design and/or creating traditional art.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Audition.
• Experience with Sony Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras.

Hours & Pay:

• Starting rate: $22 / hour.
• Pay range: $22 - $28 / hour.
• Business hours are 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
