Key Responsibilities
· Reporting to the CEO, own developing and executing on the firm’s recruiting strategy.
· Develop recruiters, and those with tangential recruiting responsibilities, in the firm.
· Collaborate with MassMutual home office recruiting partners to ensure company resources are leveraged efficiently and effectively, in alignment with the firm recruiting budget and strategy.
· Establish and manage to activity and pipeline management best practices to maintain a consistent pipeline of professional financial advisors for contract consideration.
· Strategically partner with sales management to craft and execute innovative sourcing strategies to recruit experienced financial services professionals, career changers and new to the career financial advisors to join MassMutual Great Lakes.
· Generate and vet leads, manage interviews, and support leadership in all aspects of pipeline growth.
· Dynamically engage with social media platforms and marketing campaigns to draw in top-tier talent.
· Engage with internal and external networks for candidate sourcing and referrals.
· Uphold the firm’s integrity in talent management and champion diversity and inclusion.
· Implement strategies to maintain engagement with potential candidates.
· Screen for cultural fit and alignment with our core values.
· Stay informed on our value proposition to attract high-quality candidates.
· Continuously improve upon legacy systems and processes to modernize, maximize, and position the MassMutual Recruiting team to be the best in class in the industry.
What We're Looking For
· Leadership experience that includes developing, leading, and inspiring a team to achieve goals.
· Demonstrated 3-5+ years of success in sales recruiting within insurance/wealth management/financial services.
· A natural ability to network and connect with people and build relationships
· Strong network and professional centers of influence within Michigan
· Expertise in creating effective recruiting strategies, utilizing social media, and recruiting technology.
· Skilled in networking and community building as primary recruitment strategy.
· An engaging communicator with a passion for financial services.
· Entrepreneurial mindset with a preference for recruiting sales roles.
· Independent, outcome-focused, with strong organizational skills while also being able to think globally and strategically.
· High ethical standards, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
· Comfortable communicating with executive level leaders and demonstrating an owner mentality.
