Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a German-Speaking Customer Advisor to join our team in Malta. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone fluent in German who loves travel and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for assisting our German-speaking clients with their travel plans, answering their queries, and ensuring they have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

You will play a key role in our customer service department, helping to maintain our high standards of service and contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance: Respond to calls, emails, and live chats from German-speaking customers, providing support with travel bookings, cancellations, modifications, and general travel inquiries.
  • Travel Expertise: Provide expert guidance on destinations, travel options, and services to help customers make well-informed decisions and plan their ideal trips.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and problems professionally and empathetically, ensuring a positive outcome.
  • Booking Support: Help customers navigate the booking process, including making changes and cancellations, while ensuring all information is accurately recorded in our system.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on the latest travel industry trends, promotions, and company offerings to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Follow-Up Services: Conduct follow-up communications with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their experience and address any further needs or concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and operations, to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and thorough records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system for tracking and analysis purposes.
  • Compliance and Adherence: Follow company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines during all customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in German (both written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) is also required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to customers.
  • Customer-Focused Attitude: A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Flexibility and Professionalism: Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and patience.
  • Basic Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems and software, with a quick ability to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in bookings and customer information.
  • Previous Experience: Prior experience in customer service, a call center, or the travel industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Willingness to Relocate: Open to relocating to Malta if currently residing abroad. A relocation package is available to support the move.
  • On-Site Presence: Must be based in Malta and willing to work fully on-site in our office.
