Location: This Flight Data Analyst position is based at Edwards AFB, California. 

Travel: Must have ability to travel as needed. This position may also be deployed from 30-90 days for strategic efforts.

Security Clearance: This Flight Data Analyst must hold an active Secret Clearance .

Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.

• Data collection (to include real-time, post, and truth data), data pre-processing (cutting data), data reduction, data archiving, and meeting data deliverables.
• Troubleshooting missing data and malfunctioning network systems
• Responsible for aircraft media inventory, media formatting and ensuring media availability for flight operations.
• Ingest, catalog, and perform validation of flight data.
• Set up and perform Aircrew Mission Debriefs with Pilots, Intel, and Analysts
• Serve as the prime interface for all users accessing the system and its data - providing support for user operations, training for application usage, and identification/resolution of reported issues.
• Write customized procedures and user guidance to support specific IT tasks.
• Perform setup and teardown of essential servers for deployment/temporary duty

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have a active/current passport. 
• Must have minimum DOD Secret Level Clearance or higher.
• Ability to obtain an IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M (i.e., Sec+ CE [MCSA]).
• Experience with recognizing deficiencies in processes.
• Experience with customer focus with field service experience.
• Understanding of general aviation procedures and regulations. 
• Ability to organize and compile data as needed. 
• Ability to occasionally travel away from the normal duty location, to include deployments CONUS and OCONUS.
• Ability to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
• Ability to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, shift work, and /or overtime to support mission requirements.
• (Preferred) Background in Aviation.
• (Preferred) Familiarization with Active Directory management on Windows systems.
• (Preferred) Hardware and/or software programming experience.
• (Preferred) Experience with VMware, Horizon View, Hadoop, Isilon and SAN storage systems.
• (Preferred) Understanding and/or knowledge of Teletronics Corporation (TTC) hardware and software.
• (Preferred) Understanding of Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) regulations an operating procedure.
• (Preferred) Work with communications protocols, specifically Fiber Channel, MIL-STD-1553, IEE-1394, CAIS Bus (Common Airborne Instrumentation System Bus), RS-485.
