Job Description

GAC Enterprises, LLC, a fast-growing telecommunications construction company, is seeking a Fiber Blower/ Puller to join our team. As a fiber blower/ puller, you will be responsible forunderstanding fiber prints and sequentials, blow and/ or pull fiber. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Be able to run fiber blowing and pulling in the needed markets.
• Understands fiber prints, fiber sequentials and is able to gather these accurately with pictures and information requested. 
• Troubleshoot problems with fiber networks and find effective solutions
• Has experience in using/ running a Larson trailer system with fiber blowing pulling capability
• Has experience in using a capstan when needed and be able to blow a string in conduit
• Can troubleshoot if needed by using a rodder or other troubleshooting equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed within safety guidelines and company standards
• Maintain and care for all assigned equipment
• Be available for on-call dispatching for maintenance work.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in fiber blowing/ pulling and network maintenance
• Experience using equipment such as a larson trailer, capstan and rodder. 
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime and travel if needed
• Valid Driver’s License (Required), CDL Class A or Class B (Preferred), DOT Med card (Required)
• OSHA10 & 30 Certifications (Preferred)
