Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Technician Intern to join our IT support team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hybrid work environment. The role is primarily remote but may occasionally require travel to client sites to assist with technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for clients seeking technical support via phone, email, or remote access.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software, network systems, and cloud applications.
  • Assist with the remote monitoring, deployment, installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and software.
  • On rare occasions, travel to client sites and assist in diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues related to on-premise hardware, software, network systems, and physical devices.
  • Document and track issues and resolutions using the company's ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to senior technicians or appropriate departments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements to the help desk process.
  • Assist in the development and updating of technical documentation and knowledge base articles.


  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues remotely.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Customer-oriented with a keen interest in providing high-quality technical support.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of IT support tools.
  • Previous internship or part-time experience in a help desk or technical support role is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is a plus but not required.


  • Pay range: $15 - $20/hour. ($30,000 - $40,000/year).
