We are currently assisting our client in their search for an experienced Director of Talent Acquisition . This leadership role is essential in innovating and driving recruitment strategies across the organization. The Director will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent, ensuring the organization's sustained growth and success.
By partnering closely with hiring managers, the Director will guide the recruitment process, ensuring best practices are consistently upheld. Additionally, this role will focus on building a diverse and dynamic talent pipeline through strategic networking, sourcing, and leveraging both internal and external resources. Dedicated to ongoing improvement, the Director will develop and refine recruiting tools, training programs, and metrics that align with the client’s broader organizational goals.
Core Duties:
Lead the development and execution of forward-thinking recruitment strategies that align with the client’s goals and culture.
Mentor and coach hiring managers to elevate their capabilities in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates, ensuring best practices are consistently applied.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-caliber candidates for critical positions, emphasizing talent development and long-term retention.
Design and deliver training programs to standardize and enhance hiring practices throughout the organization.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment, tracking and reporting on metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate retention rates.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure recruitment initiatives align with the client’s strategic objectives.
Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of Talent Acquisition systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance the user experience.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior recruiters, fostering a high-performance team that maximizes recruiting outcomes.
Continuously innovate recruiting strategies to stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the client attracts and retains top talent.
Partner with the Marketing team to develop and maintain a compelling careers website and targeted talent acquisition campaigns.
Manage recruitment budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness in all recruiting activities while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Address turnover challenges by working closely with HR and operations leaders to identify root causes and implement strategic solutions.
Engage with community leaders and HR professionals to drive strategic recruiting initiatives and empower managers to actively contribute to the talent acquisition process.
Travel to various company locations as needed to ensure recruitment strategies are effectively implemented and meet the needs of different regions.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in creating and optimizing recruiting and retention strategies.
At least 4 years of experience coaching and supporting hiring managers in making informed hiring decisions.
Experience in a complex, multi-site organization, preferably with international exposure.
Proven track record of developing and utilizing recruitment metrics to drive improvements.
Expertise in healthcare recruiting is a strong plus.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Leadership skills with the ability to build and manage a high-performing recruiting team.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel as required to meet the demands of the role.
