We're currently hiring a Director of Account Management to join our Sales team. Reporting to the CRO, you'll drive growth for our most strategic customers both at renewal and through mid-term expansion opportunities. This leadership role will be responsible for running all current accounts, while also creating a process for account management and collaboration between new business and CS. This position will eventually be responsible for growing and hiring the account management team and creating the blueprint for what success looks like.

What you'll do:

• Create a playbook for Account Management at Canvs AI including, but not limited to, understanding the customer journey, account mapping and creating an excellent customer experience 
• Working together with the CSM team to define roles and responsibilities
• Working with the New Business team to improve the transition to customer and onboarding experience
• Serve as the company's commercial lead and owner on managing and successfully renewing our most sophisticated and complex existing customer accounts within a named book of business.
• Identify, pursue, and expand revenue by navigating cross-functional, cross-sell opportunities to maximize growth and scale revenue with each existing customer within a name book of business against a defined growth target.
• Liaise with our most senior level customer decision makers and budget holders (VP+, C-level) commercial stakeholders and leaders to build relationships as a trusted advisor
• Travel up to 3-4x per year to attend industry-relevant events and conferences relevant to our target audience.
• Leverage deep product and industry knowledge to demonstrate solution-selling techniques, uncover customer challenges and revenue risk, and deliver valuable solutions to secure long-term partnerships.
• Work closely with the product team to translate feature requests from prospects and clients into actionable product developments.
• CRM maintenance in Hubspot at a regular cadence, and applicable reporting to the company's C-level executive management team in a timely manner upon request
• Collaborate closely with and potentially mentor existing Customer Success Team members

Who you are:

• At least 8 - 10 years of SaaS experience in sales and account management in a quota-carrying role at the Enterprise level. 
• A background in market research, consumer insights, CX and/or the media & entertainment industry is a strong plus. 
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial in nature and can excel comfortably in complex and ambiguous environments
• Highly-strategic in interpersonal and communication approach in order to drive outcomes 
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations, with strong attention to detailed numbers
• Deep understanding and strong perspective and application of pricing/packaging strategy, SaaS contract clauses, developing Statements of Work, and working with enterprise-level Procurement
• Comfortable working with c-suite at accounts
• Experience creating process and building out a team at an early-stage start up
• Comfortable starting as an Individual Contributor in terms of client responsibilities
