Summary

The Director, of Global and Corporate Events, is responsible for all aspects of Brivo’s events, both internal and external trade shows and events. As a player-coach, the Director is a leader and a people manager with high energy, talented at managing multiple team members, managing budgets, and priorities, and works well across teams. This is a highly visible role that requires extensive project management skills, a high level of professionalism, and a willingness to handle all planning and administrative details of trade shows and events. This person is also responsible for creating the messaging associated with all events, that capture the attention of the potential attendee, creating the value proposition, and driving attendance. Responsibilities
  • Managing annual budgeting for all corporate and global events
  • Driving ROI for all external events through leads generated and meetings held while tracking KPIs
  • Building an event strategy that aligns with the segment prioritization Brivo is pursuing, specifically general security
  • Execute extensive corporate event strategy, ensuring participation in events and conferences that support corporate growth strategies
  • Facilitate all aspects of event and trade show planning, including registration, marketing, coordination with internal stakeholders, onsite staffing, and post-event reporting
  • Execute event logistics, including booth design, vendor payment, shipping, travel, set-up, and tear-down
  • Manage relationship with exhibit house to coordinate billing, inventory, shipping, and condition of all trade show properties, materials, and company collateral
  • Coordinate travel, lodging, and expenses for participants traveling to events
  • Work directly with registrants on problems and inquiries
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with show personnel
  • Execute the communication strategy for each show, including pre-, on-site, and post-show communication across email and social media
  • Coordinate the creation of event materials, signage, and messaging
  • Track expenses for event budget reconciliation
  • Oversee lead capture efforts, including working with onsite staff and uploads into Salesforce
  • Support other company and marketing initiatives as necessary

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of trade show or event management global experience
  • Must be available to travel nationally and globally to trade shows (up to 20%)

  • Google Suite, Salesforce, Pardot, or other CRM and project management tools
  • Exceptional client service skills

The total compensation package for this full-time position includes a salary range of $130,000 - $160,000. Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions. In addition to cash compensation (includes base salary and, where applicable, may include incentive or overtime pay), Brivonians are eligible for benefits & perks () based on their work locations.
