Design Engineer & Pattern Maker

Position Overview:

Join a dynamic team as a Design Engineer & Pattern Maker Assistant! We're on the lookout for a creative and dedicated individual to collaborate closely with the Product Engineer. In this role, you'll contribute to daily operations and exciting new design projects, making a tangible impact on our innovative endeavors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Grasp project objectives and tailor designs to meet specific needs.
• Bring ideas to life through the creation of prototypes, drafts, and forward-thinking design solutions.
• Foster seamless communication and coordination within the team to ensure the smooth execution of designs.
• Incorporate valuable user feedback to continually improve and refine designs.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
• Play a vital role throughout the design lifecycle, from conceptualization to finalization.
• Handle special design tasks, including color correction across diverse projects.
• Showcase exceptional technical skills and adept problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Accumark software is essential, with an emphasis on level 2 (Advanced) training and practical experience in pattern design, grading, and software application.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in design projects, demonstrating a track record of success.
• Previous collaboration experience with sewing machine operators within a live production environment.
• A portfolio highlighting a robust foundation in visual and interaction design principles.
• Strong expertise in pattern-making techniques.
• Knowledgeable about various textiles, including lightweight, stretch, nylon, cordura, and aramid fibers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
• Committed to upholding professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
