Manage the planning, implementation, review, and assessment for components of the College’s curriculum. Interacts internally with university shared service units and departments and externally with clinical sites. Manages continuous quality improvement initiatives in the curriculum as directed.
Principal Functional Responsibilities:
Curriculum Operations and Supervision : Supervise a curriculum team, manage course assignments and curriculum projects for assigned area. Establish goals, monitor and evaluate employee performance. Facilitate training and development on curricular software. Attend curriculum committee meetings as needed. Provide oversight for the online Learning Management System, course scheduling and course documents. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve curriculum management issues.
Continuous Quality Improvement: Manage continuous quality improvement efforts related to curriculum operations. Monitor adherence to curricular policies and procedures, identify problems and recommend solutions to improve curriculum delivery and overall curriculum operations. Suggest and implement curricular and process improvements to enhance learning experiences for students. Collaborate with university shared service units to streamline procedures.
Student Performance : Assist course directors to ensure student completion of curricular activities and monitor course conduct issues. Monitor and review student performance and communicate concerns to the appropriate administrators. Provide oversight of students in navigation of the grade dispute process.
Curriculum and Instructional Development: Support and collaborate with course directors in the design, implementation, research, evaluation and delivery of the curriculum. Participate, as needed, in the development and editing of course materials.
Credentialing : Maintain adherence to credentialing policies and procedures. Attend all student credentialing committee meetings and correspond with clinical sites and students regarding compliance issues.
