The Copywriter will be responsible for creative copy development for The Pearl marketing materials, including advertising, look books, print collateral, web pages, emails, and promotional pieces. Working closely with both print and digital teams, the Copywriter will ideate creative concepts with effective copy while leveraging AI tools to enhance content creation and streamline workflows.

 

Essential Functions:

• Create innovative advertising and marketing copy for promotions, products, and services, utilizing AI-driven insights to inform creative strategies.
• Develop compelling copy and concepts for new and existing marketing programs, including print and digital advertising, look books, emails, and website content, integrating AI tools for improved efficiency and creativity.
• Consistently deliver clear, concise, and credible copy that aligns with the creative strategy and resonates with target audiences.
• Translate brand positioning objectives into engaging messaging, optimized for delivery through various media, while using AI analytics to refine approaches.
• Research, organize, and write original content; ensure quality through thorough editing and proofreading, potentially employing AI assistance for grammar and style checks.
• Regularly review competitive sites and analyze AI-generated insights to share innovative ideas with the team.

 

Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (required or preferred):
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Years of Related Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in advertising, catalog/marketing, or editorial writing.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient on the Mac and the Internet, with familiarity in using AI tools for content generation and optimization.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative copy solutions and effective messaging strategies.

Other Requirements:

• Demonstrate creativity and possess strong writing and interpersonal skills; able to multitask while working under deadlines.
• Ability to balance a diverse portfolio of assignments.
• Detail-oriented with a good ability to plan and accomplish goals within time and budgetary constraints.
• Clear, concise writing style, with a knack for persuasive communication.
• Passionately share opinions, concepts, and information with the team and stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to communicate promptly and accurately via computer, telephone, or similar device with or without assistive technology.
• Ability to perform sedentary work.
