Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, identifying potential issues before they escalate into more severe problems.
• Collaborate with our installation team occasionally to facilitate the seamless installation of HVAC units, providing insights based on system diagnostics and maintenance expertise.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through exceptional customer service, effectively communicating technical information to non-technical customers.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of each service visit, documenting all installed equipment, repairs done, and any further recommendations.
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies and regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
• Assist in training junior technicians, providing mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the industry, attending workshops and seminars as necessary to enhance your skill set and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• A recognized institution's high school diploma or equivalent and HVAC certification are preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC services.
• Solid understanding of commercial HVAC systems and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• EPA Certification is a must-have 
• Gas Mech 1 License is a must-have 
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
