Job Description

About the role :

You will design, develop, and deliver engaging and accessible training programs and materials for federal IT systems and applications. You will also provide ongoing training support and feedback, collaborate with SMEs and project teams, and acquire a proficient understanding of company's policies, goals, and technologies.


  • Create interactive learning programs, eLearnings, supporting courseware and communications for technology-based and talent development initiatives, following federal standards and guidelines.
  • Deliver remote one-on-one assistance, demo-style training and interactive training modules to federal employees and contractors.
  • Schedule learning sessions through the LMS in support of rollouts/deployments, ensuring compliance with federal security and accessibility requirements.
  • Respond to escalation tickets and take the appropriate action towards resolving such as delivering training or escalating to an SME, following federal protocols and procedures.
  • Develop expert knowledge of core applications and an overview understanding of additional applications as used in the federal environment.
  • Develop skills in training approaches and courseware development tools and deliver train-the-trainer sessions for trainers and other support teams.
  • Work with project teams to identify, evaluate and test new applications as well as upgrades to existing applications, following federal change management processes.
  • Provide feedback on any areas for program improvements identified during training and support, following federal quality assurance standards.
  • Some travel (up to 10%) in support of training initiatives may be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required,
  • 3-5 years of related experience in federal IT training
  • Experience in developing and delivering interactive learning programs for federal clients, preferably CMS.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and write business correspondence and technical documentation.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills for federal management and colleagues.
  • Strong independent work ethic with excellent judgment and diplomacy.
  • Flexibility with work hours to meet federal business needs.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Willingness to undertake other assigned duties and responsibilities.
