What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, guiding the financial aspects of new management contracts, acquisitions, and expansion into new regions.
Financial Oversight: Lead the presentation and review of financial statements, oversee the monthly financial close, and manage the financial planning and reporting process.
Team Management: Direct and support the finance and accounting teams, ensuring effective training and support for staff across all levels.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, board members, and funders as needed to support organizational goals.
Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies, manage budgeting and accounting activities, and oversee financial controls and reporting functions.
Growth and Improvement: Analyze funding models for expansion, manage financial aspects of acquisitions, and represent the organization with financial management clients.

Experience: A seasoned professional with a proven track record in financial leadership, especially within the charter school or public-school sector.
Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to execute growth strategies in a financially sustainable manner.
