Oregon State University Cascades invites applications for a full-time 1.00 FTE , 9-month, fixed-term Assistant Professor of Teaching position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Senior Associate Dean.

This Assistant Professor of Teaching will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Art/Arts Media Technology ( ART / AMT ) programs, advise and mentor students as needed, engage in the ART / AMT programs, conduct scholarship/research in the field of Art History and provide service to the Program, School, College, and University in the form of committee work and participation in faculty meetings.

Requires a PhD

Requirements :

• Doctoral degree in Art History or closely related field
• Prior university teaching experience in Art/Art History or closely related field, post-PhD.
• Demonstrated potential to conduct research and scholarly work, and ability to articulate a planned program of research.
• Demonstrated commitment to educational equity in a multicultural setting and a commitment to advancing the participation of diverse groups and supporting diverse perspectives.
